Raised in obscurity by the elder Vaynar, Calden is thrust into a tormentuous journey sparked by an echo of the past, carrying with it an unknown lineage and his hidden name: Corthanis of Auraveth. A brief glimpse into shadowed history brings more questions than answers, and triggers a sudden and devastating attack on his homestead, forcing him to adorn a cursed suit of armor. These events will be the catalyst leading this unreluctant hero to follow a blinding path of vengeance.
The Elite warriors of the Mortem, tasked with commanding armies of Mortem Resonant into brutal action. By the hand of the Choir’mourn, the guardian Vaynar is slain; by recognizing Calden’s true identity, the Choir’mourn’s fate becomes intertwined in Corthanis’ journey.
